Basic accommodation but overall a good experience in the best possible location for Patong!
The best location for the night-life and excitement of Patong!!! Right near the most colorful street and close to the main walking street, yet a quiet side-street. Manager was most helpful - a young guy starting out on a new business and trying so hard.
The view from the widow into another apartment was unfortunate. The shower drain was slow - the manager tried to fix but it was not possible without major intervention - so we were ok to leave as is.

Meh
The location is excellent, close to the nightlife but still very quiet, really it’s a perfect location. The room itself was quite nice except for one major issue. Mold.
Mold, the shower drain appears to have been not working for some time as the walls are full of mold. You can smell as soon as you enter the building, so it may not be just one unit with this problem. I took a brief shower, turning the water off to soap up, and just quickly rinse and the water was already making its way near the bathroom door. The water was standing in the drain before using the shower. I mentioned this to the owner, it didn’t seem to concern him. I would guess they have to tear the tiles up which are quite nice to repair. Seems silly to let it all rot away in my opinion.
